Guildford Town Centre: Flat and Apartment Moves
Guildford town centre is the tightest place we load a van. The High Street rises from the river towards North Street, and many homes are flats over shops, rooms above offices, or older houses on Quarry Street, Castle Street and the lanes around them. A move here is rarely a case of reversing onto a drive. You need a legal place for the van, a clear stair, and a plan for the sloping, cobbled parts of the centre. Woodbridge Road itself is a simpler loading street than the middle of town. If the flat is in the centre, we need the road name, the floor, and whether a managing agent has to approve the date. Stairs, slopes and a place to stop
The practical problem in the centre is access. A third-floor flat off the High Street can take longer than a house on Woodbridge Road, even though the distance between them is short. Photograph the stair and the door the van will use.
Offices in the centre often share a street door with a shop or a flat. Name a person who can open up, and say if the move has to be early or late. We are open 24 hours.

The library is near the top of North Street. Surrey's page said it would fully reopen on Saturday 24 October 2026 after works, with click and collect before that. Check the page for the current service.

South Western Railway runs the station. There is level access from Walnut Tree Close. The Guildford Park Road entrance is not step-free.

The gardens are a short walk from Woodbridge Road. The borough page lists parking rules for Nightingale Road and Lido Road, which matter if you are visiting on moving week.

The leisure centre by Stoke Park has a large car park that gets busy at weekends and in school holidays. The site is the place to check swimming and skating times.
