One room, ready first
If you are moving with a baby around Guildford, ask for the cot or the Moses basket to come off the van first, into a room you can shut. House removals can unload in an order you name. Use that for the sleep space, not for the book boxes.
A flat in Park Barn or a house in Burpham is noisy on moving day. The baby does not have to watch it. A grandparent, a friend, or a long walk with the pram through Stoke Park covers the hour when the door is wedged open.
The bag that stays in the car
